We are a southern OC based jazz group that features our own renditions of jazz favorites across 'standards', straight-ahead, and latin genres.

Allen Takatsuka : Piano

Discovered piano at age 7. Studied with Don Haas. Played with New Vintage and JLQ in the Central Coast area before relocating to Southern California. AI Tech professional by day.

Howard Conn : Guitar

Self taught on all 6 strings starting at 7 yrs old in Hampton, Virginia. Played with Jimmy Smith, Brenwana Night Club House Band, and toured with Art Landee while at Amherst College.

Adrian Turner : Bass

Studied Music at Portland State University and Mount Hood Community College in Oregon, as well as under Dan Schulte, Tim Gilson, and Carol Kaye. Freelance bassist in Orange County.

Jorg Dubin : Drums

Hit his first snare drum at age 11. Played with Michael Hamilton, Sue Thomas, and Elaine Miles. Played with Buck Naked and the Chapped Cheeks in the 90's then with the Gary Hogan Jazz Trio. A Laguna Beach visual artist - catch his works around town!
