The Akusta Kats Quartet

Discovered piano at age 7. Studied with Don Haas and fabulous SF Bay Area public and community fine arts programs. Played with New Vintage and JLQ. Also seen locally with Jorg Dubin Jazz Quartet, Satin Express, vocalists Janet Orsi and Crystal Clulee, and others.  Tech/software leader by day.

Self taught  on all 6 strings starting at 7 yrs old in Hampton, Virginia. Played with Jimmy Smith,  Brenwana Night Club House Band, and toured with Art Landee while at Amherst College. Also seen locally with Jorg Dubin Jazz Quartet, Just Friends Jazz Band, and others. Former accomplished surgeon. 

Studied Music at Portland State University and Mount Hood Community College in Oregon, as well as under Dan Schulte, Tim Gilson, and Carol Kaye. Also seen locally with Jorg Dubin Jazz Quartet, his band Modern Time, and others. Freelance bassist in Orange County.

Hit his first snare  drum at age 11. Played with Michael Hamilton, Sue Thomas, and Elaine Miles. Played with Buck Naked and the Chapped Cheeks in the 90's then with the Gary Hogan Jazz Trio. Also seen locally with his Jorg Dubin Jazz Quartet. A Laguna Beach visual artist - catch his works around town!
