The Akusta Kats Trio
The Akusta Kats Trio features captivating vocalist Janet Orsi. With her rich background in vocal performance and degrees from Chapman University and Berklee College of Music in Spain, Janet brings unparalleled expertise and passion to the stage, with a particular affinity for Latin jazz. Having performed internationally and studied under renowned jazz artists such as Celia Mur and Victor Mendoza, she delivers a mesmerizing performance.
The Akusta Kats Trio includes passionate jazz musicians Adrian Turner and Allen Takatsuka. Adrian is a freelance bassist situated in Orange County, and enjoys playing in and recording with different ensembles on both upright and electric bass. He studied music in Portland prior to moving to southern California.
Allen is a long-time Orange County jazz pianist. Allen enjoys bringing jazz to venues across Orange County in a variety formats including solo piano, duos, and in instrumental as well as vocal showcases. Allen played in the San Luis Obispo area before moving to Southern California.
